Thank you all for the kind comments on my previous post (Crystal, Lady78, Shane, & Michelle) . It was pretty nice to get home and find the comments in my email. Thank you, combined with the efforts of a loving wife and daughter, they truly made a difference. Blessings to each and every one.

I was never really intending on publishing that, it was more of an escape to privacy to sit down in my office with my thoughts and let them flow through my fingers in a feeble attempt to just somehow be connected and disconnected from the world for a while… poor medium for escaping the world I guess, didn’t realize I still had hits left on BE either. But in it’s own way I suppose “it’s all good now”.

The girls did their very best to keep me in good spirits through the rest of the day, and I did my best to try to show them I was. I took a few vacation days so I’m out off work all of next week, so with dozens of projects lined up around the house to finish and stuff I should be able to work my way through any further rough patches. Think today, maybe I just need to go out to the woods and fell a few trees and cut 5-6 cords of firewood or something today to exhaust myself, and I’ll be back to my usual silly self on the outside again. Productive venting could even get some of the firewood we’ll need for next winter ready.

Besides I’ve got the rest of a huge cake to eat :) Picture this, merge a real Boston Cream Pie and a birthday cake…. chocolate cake split and filled with REAL Bavarian cream, covered in all sorts of butter cream frostings (made up with a truck hauling a boat by a lake with tree’s and lil’ deer running amok, describes me pretty well.
