Coral Reef Tank12 May 2005 09:54 pm
After setting on a long waiting list Angel finally got her Sailfin Tang. She’s just plain gorgeous, thought I’d share a good close up picture.
and here’s a shot of her in our tank, don’t let the picture fool you about the size of things, the sailfin is a little over halfway full grown, about 8 inches long now and will get to be over a foot long. This tank is a whopping 6 feet long (180 gallon).
And yes, we are completely out of our minds… but we love it. Next tank will have to be 300+ gallons

I’ve had fish. None like these though. And over a foot long?? Makes me wonder what it would be like to live in a world that is less than six times my length…
Looks beautiful though

Awsome Tank! My husband is in the process of building a coral reef tank from scratch. I’ll have to show him your photos when he gets home.
Great blog also =0)

Thanks for all the kind words… I don’t often post a lot about our tanks here, I have other blogs and stuff that I maintain on our Saltwater Forums at http://www.captivereefing.com

thats a serious tank
The only other one I have seen like that had an oemeba that was about a foot across and a handful of clowns. The clowns would start trouble with the otherfish then run back to the oemeba for protection. cheeky sods.
