More English Springer Spaniels coming!
Our remaining female English Springer Spaniel (Tory aka Thornberry Rose) is really starting to show now…. looks it’ll like a pretty good sized litter, her last was only 8 which actually worked out very well… Expected delivery date is April 8th
She’s a Liver/White and her mate is a Black/White/Tan tri-colored, together they throw such fantastic looking pups. At least this litter coming has kept everyone’s mind busy enough so that the loss of Bailey and her pups last month is a little less painful, still an agonizing memory, but each day makes it slightly easier to deal with.
Tory is a field dog where Remi is a show, talk about getting the best of both worlds in a pup…. lap dogs that will hunt like it’s nobody’s business. We kept one of the pups from her last litter, but think it’s just too much and he’ll be going up for sale now as well. Honestly, keeping him was a mistake, 5 dogs in the house is just way too much for anyone to deal with, and with one still a puppy is making matter worse as he winds up the whole pack.
These are purebred, fully AKC papered English Springer Spaniels, we’re expecting a mixture of Liver/White, Black/White, and Tri-colored combinations of each. Excellent house dogs and/or the best bird dogs you’ll ever find (my opinion), but they do need some room to run or be exercised regularly.
Pictures to follow soon. Anyone looking for a new puppy… you know the drill, the waiting list has already begun

More Corals added to our reef tank…
Last night stopped by a local fish store to pick up some DT’s phytoplankton to feed our new clams, ended up picking up some new critters as well…. a couple more sea cucumbers, they are so industrious and productive in cleaning the sandbed that it’s hard not to overlook they are at quite ugly to look at. Also picked up either a huge frag or small colony of a Green Slimer (SPS), this one is mine! A green pagoda cup 4-5″ round, we’ve been looking at these for months and this is the first that we actually liked, bright green ’saucer’ with pink polyps. A large colonly of some really cool blue zoanthids. Another color varation that somehow we didn’t yet have, but there are at least 50 polyps spread over the rock each opens up to well over 1/2″, and just too pretty to leave be, so they came home.
Everything appeared to acclimate very rapidly, and we cheated a little turning on the actinic lighting so we could see where they were to live in our tank, surprisingly everything just popped open and starting showing off!
The photo period is now running from 11am - 7pm now, so Angel’s going to try and get some new pictures for us this afternoon, otherwise I have a good idea of what I’ll be doing after work tonight

Duplicate Content?
Found another great tool, thanks to the folks over at DigitalPoint, now check for percentages of duplicate or similar content between web pages with the Similar Pages Script. There are some other tools located there as well I have not yet evaluated, but this one is pretty good. Tells me I need to make additional changes to a few things on CaptiveReefing, seems my robots.txt had some things commented out that I’d rather weren’t to keep the spiders from crawling forum pages as well as posts that were archived off as HTML, but still lived in the PHP versions. Results 58% similar content between them… I’m sure Google will slap my hand for that one here pretty quick unless I do something soon.

Annual Credit Report
Public Service Announcement; If you live in the midwest, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska North Dokta, Ohio, South Dokota, or Wisconsin this is the month to get your Annual Free Credit Report. Not the BS give me your credit card number and we’ll bill you for it every month deal, this one being government sponsored, You can also request your report by phone or mail. Monitoring and periodically reviewing your credit report is an effective tool in fighting identity theft.
Once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. You can get them all at once or when every once a year for free. The site details the times for other regions of the country.
Checking on your credit report is one of the defenses to ensure you are not becoming a victim of identity theft, trust me it’s not fun having people leaching off your credit report. Takes a million phone calls and a lot of letters and time to get straightened back out!

The REAL Master Plan…
Managed to get next to nothing done at all yesterday
The walls that were to be patched and filled got a little mud. No sanding, no painting. I did however managed to get the lumber moved downstairs to my little woodshop to make the rangetop cover, does that count as work? Good enough for me.
Actually a last minute change of plans saved me, we had friends over for dinner so they could pick up their computer I rebuilt for them and the rest of the afternoon and evening was burned shooting the breeze and gazing at our coral reef tank. Yup I’m not afriad to admit it, we are quite proud of our tank and like to show off a bit. Lot of time and money invested in it so I think we earned the right.
